A beautifully designed Ellucian Experience quick-links card giving students instant access to every major university tool — from Self Service to Health Appointments.
About the Project
The Student Resources card is one of the highest-traffic cards on the MyJU dashboard — a centralized hub giving students instant one-tap access to the tools they use most. The challenge was fitting twelve essential destinations into a single card without it feeling cluttered or overwhelming.
I designed a two-column grid layout with custom iconography for each service — Self Service, Blackboard, Library, Alternative Payments, Microsoft Outlook, Starfish, Reserve a Room, Health Appointments, Accessibility Services, Dining & Meal Plans, Research Approval (IRB), and Order Transcript. The dark teal color scheme was chosen to feel premium and distinct from lighter cards in the dashboard while staying within JU's brand. Each button is large enough for easy mobile tapping, with clear labels and subtle iconography that reinforces the destination without needing lengthy descriptions. Built entirely as a custom Ellucian Experience card.
