About the Project
The Slate Feed Monitor is a custom Ellucian Experience card and full-page dashboard I built to give the JU admissions and IT teams real-time visibility into the automated pipeline that moves applicants from Technolutions Slate into Ellucian Colleague via APS. Before this tool existed, there was no easy way to know whether the daily feed had run, how many records loaded, or if something had silently failed.
The card surfaces live metrics — applications and decisions loaded today, a 14-day bar chart of load history, and a clear status indicator (Loading normally / Needs attention). The expanded page digs deeper with a full record disposition breakdown (loaded, already applied, duplicate, invalid ID), the automated morning cycle schedule, and afternoon repeat windows. The system runs on a 5-stage morning schedule starting at 4:15 AM and repeats throughout the day for applications. Built on Ellucian Experience with Ethos API integrations and Yellowfin analytics.
